The rising cost of education means that providers who can be seen to be offering the best value for money, alongside a quality learning programme, are going to prosper. There’s a lot at stake and those who can get their messages across effectively through the media will reap the benefits.
During the last five years alone we have designed and delivered courses for over 34 separate higher education establishments.
What Media First clients in your sector say
I thoroughly enjoyed the day and found it very helpful. I can honestly say that I feel much more confident
Lisa Edwards, Policy and Communications Officer, University and College Union Wales
Media First provided an excellent day of bespoke media training for our communications team. The trainers on the day were fantastic, their experience shone through and all of the team came away with increased confidence in not only speaking to the media, but also in public speaking.
James Durrant, Press and Public Affairs Officer, UCAS
The training was challenging. We all had the opportunity to learn and practice skills and while everyone was exhausted by the end of the day, we all felt it was extremely valuable in terms of dealing with the media in the future. Being taught by working journalists was very beneficial. It is important to be talking with people who are living it day to day. It felt very real and although the training took place in a safe environment, it felt edgy because of the freshness they brought and the insights that they gave.
