Media First has become even more cultural this quarter by working with Booktrust again but this time training the Children's Laureate, Anthony Browne. Anthony is passionate about encouraging children not only to read books but also to engage with picture books to develop their visual literacy. Our tutor spent a day with him developing his confidence. Plus helping him prepare for not only all the positive stories around children learning to read but also the more challenging issues surrounding government plans to vet children's authors who go into schools to talk about their books.
