Lawrence McGinty

Lawrence is Science Editor for ITN. During his career he has won many awards including two BAFTAS for Channel 4 News and Best News for Outside Broadcast and two RTS awards for his coverage of the Kings Cross disaster and the drugs scandal at the Barcelona Olympics. Lawrence was awarded the Science Writer’s Fellowship of the Association of British Science Writers and has the Queen’s Silver Jubilee medal for his work on the New Scientist. He also won the Medical Journalists Association Award for “Health Journalist of the Year” in 2005.
