FAQ's
Your questions answered

- Can you do the training at the client's premises?
- Yes we train all over the UK and worldwide - we have all the equipment needed to recreate a news studio at your preferred location.
- How long does each training session last?
- Normally the media training is for a full day. However we fully appreciate that time is money and many senior executives don't have the time to commit to a full day. Therefore for small groups of 1-3 we can run half day sessions instead.
- What's the maximum number of delegates per course?
- Usually we set a maximum of six delegates per course. This is to ensure that everyone gets all the interview practice and individual feedback they need throughout the training day. However we do workshops up to 50 people, it all depends what your objectives are.
- How Much?
- Because all our courses are tailored, prices depend on the design of the programme and the level and numbers of expertise required for each course. However as a guide a typical one day print and broadcast programme for a maximum of six delegates would cost between £3,750 - £4,450 +VAT and expenses (if applicable).
- Some of those who need training have been trained before. Can you deal with a mixed ability group?
- Yes, in consultation with you we can design the course so that those who need to be stretched will be tested to the limit whilst those who have not experienced media training before can have their skills developed and their confidence increased throughout the day.
- Can I come along and observe the course?
- Yes we are very happy for you to come along as an observer to see how the delegates are handling the training and it is often useful to have someone from the press/communications office to provide us with their input on the day.
- Can you do emergency one to one coaching the day before a big interview?
- All our candidates can use our emergency helpline for up to a year after they have been on a course with us. If you haven't been on one of our courses call us and we will help if we can.
- Do you do open courses?
- call + 44 (0)1635 577500
- What's the nearest train station to your studios?
- The two nearest train stations are either Didcot Parkway or Newbury. We are approximately 10-15 mins from either station.
